Whenever in the game, I always seem to get a white line along the top and down the left side of the screen. Sometimes it's a block line, other times it rapidly blinks in and out. Going to the menu (or anything else that makes the screen small for any time) usually seems to make it worse.

It's harmless, but rather distracting. Anyone else getting something similar?

does this happen in all resolutions? what about in full screen/windowed mode?

Got a screenshot by any chance? Sometimes I don't notice these things unless there's an image to compare to

I got one from loadind and one from ingame. It's rather subdued in them though and might a little tough to see, since it doesn't flash like the ingame version. Save it, then zoom in along the side and top in paint.

I only use 1280x1024, like my computer screen. It only appears in full-screen, window mode (both Alt+Enter and main menu) are what make it worse.

Completely random guess, probably not right at all - if your monitor has an auto-adjust button, press it. Don't know if it will help, just an idea.

Happens on my main computer when in full screen mode and loading.  After game starts it goes away.  Resoloution 1280x1024.  Probably just a resoloution/screen alignment issue.  I've never run the auto-adjust because it goes away as soon as the game start... if its annoying you then its worth trying to change your screen alignment

I get partial lines in those areas, and apparently so does whoever took the screenies for the guide. Check the Borg Mixed tech image for an incomplete green line at the top and left.
My line for Romulans is usually a light green tho, and is never a complete, consistent line.

Interesting...

After Nebula's comment, I took a closer look at the images I know that were not cropped, and it seems... well...

Both appear to have the partial lines. The first image was taken by Zebh, the second by me - so it appears we both have the issue. I never notice it in game though, only in the nasty side effects in screenshots (which I thought were caused by image degradation or something)  :sweatdrop: . They definitely aren't as strong as Tyler's, but I'll keep a look out for it when I load up FO.

funny, on none of the pictures posted in this thread do i see any borders of green (or any other colour) pixels.

i zoomed in to ridiculous levels and still saw nothing.

i've never seen this in game or loading or any other time.

i'm at 1280x800 which is the natural res of my laptop screen.

look at those screenshots again on a dark background, then you should see it.

i do not see this occurring when i'm in game but i recall this from armada 1 or stock armada 2

I get it ingame all the time, it goes away gradually if the cursor touches and moves on it, but it comes back while moving the view around the map.
