If youre asking how do you install it, you really only downloaded it, you didnt install it. To nstall Star Trek Armada II Fleet Operations (FleetOps) you use your Armada II Disc to install the game/mod to your computer then you still need the disc to play. You can also use an unmodded copy of a stock install of the original game to install FleetOps but since you still need the disc to play anyways, installing off of the disc is the easiest.
If you want to play online with other through Multiplayer, then you're either going to want to use GameSpy or Tunngle. Everyone mostly uses Tunngle so you're aloso going to want to install that and make an account.

No, you don't have to uninstall it. Fleet Ops and Armada II are completely separate installations.
To install Fleet Ops you only need to have a valid A2 executable - it will prompt you for one when you install Fleet Ops.

Welcome on the forums Hawk.
Do you remember to which directory you installed Fleet Operations?
If you can't find Fleet Operations you might have not installed it correctly.
1. Download Fleet Operations to a directory you know (e.g. your doanloads folder)
//www.fleetops.net/download?downlo ... n-327-full
2. Download the Multimedia pack to the same directory
//www.fleetops.net/download?downlo ... media-pack
3. Insert your original Armada II CD
4. When you finished downloading, double click the Fleet Operations full installation icon that is located in the directory you have chosen. The installation guide opens then.
5. Follow the instructions from the installation guide - there will be the possibility to again choose the directory where you want to install it into. Remember that place on your hard drive.
6. after installation of the Fleet Ops game, double click the multimedia pack. it will automatically search for Fleet Ops and install the music for Fleet Operations.
7. Go to the directory you remembered and there should be a small icon which is a tiny Borg Cube and a green tractor beam. Double click it.
8. If you can't find the folder of Fleet Operations, then open the Start manu and use the "Search Function" of Windows. Type in: "Fleet Operations".
You are welcome.

@Hawk: What Shril said is exactly what I told you to do in pretty less steps, especially since you had downloaded it already.
Well either way glad it worked.
Here's a simple idea when downloading anything, send the file to your desktop either in a new folder if its a lot or directly if it isn't. Then install to a given directory. I do it all the time and it works perfectly.
