When I downloaded and installed Tunngle, I found that it wasn't just a new game host like Xfire or Gamespy: it was a whole new protocol, like TCP/IP or something. While it was installed, it prevented me from launching the internet. And my dad is paranoid (and rightly so) about viruses. There had better be a good reason for teaming up with Tunngle. And convince my dad (and me!) that it isn't bad.

tunngle uses a common protocol when communicating with the internet. it uses one port of UDP (not TCP)

tunngle basically tricks your computer into believing it is connected to a LAN, which is actually tunngle's network.

it is perfectly safe. and it doesnt affect your ability to access the internet.

if for some reason u cannot connect to the internet, i recommend re-installing tunngle with default settings it should be fine.
