Hey all,

Its your (not) favorite truble causing  linux using gamer here! Anyone have any success with tunngle on linux, or even better, the new tunngle interlink feature that will let me play without installing tunngle? I tried their homepage, but it is hopelessly broke for me. All links I click go straight to the home page. A link to instructions would be cool.

nah, i don't think you'll ever get the native windows tunngle version to run in wine. i think i have read in the tunngle forum somewhere that they are also planning a client for other operating systems. you couldn't make much use of the fleet operations tunngle integration then. don't know if tunngle interlink is going to help with that in any way, too few details are public about how that service will work

Yeah, I thought that it would be rather difficult. It runs as a system service. hard to emulate that...

I can wait for the documentation for the interlink feature, or the client.

Thanks

yes, not only as service but it also loads a driver which i assume wine will never support

Linux supports the VPN tunnling that tunngle provides rather natively, but as for the Tunngle specific driver, yeah, that basically aint going to happen. SO the trick is to get linux to use it's VPN tunneler to get on the Tunngle network. Probably aint easy to pull off.
