Switchable Graphics

Today i encountered an error when i went to start a game, it would say fatal error in direct 3D please restart. So i did this a few times and messed around with some of the settings. Nothing worked and I eventually reinstalled it. I then realized that my laptop was using its onboard processor instead of discrete card. Could this have caused it?

hard to tell. maybe the configuration armada has made with your dedicated GPU isn't compatible somehow with your integrated graphics. you may need to reset the configuration file if you want to use your onboard graphics then (by deleting it).

Well its not a problem i dont want to play with the other card anyway i was just wondering.

ok..thanks for telling anyway. may be good to know if someone else encounters this problem
