Shield impact effects

This one is more of an aesthetic thing than anything game breaking. Shield impact explosions are attached to the craft rather than being in world space. So if a ship is rotating or moving, the explosion will move with the ship. I guess it works OK for movement, but looks a bit odd with rotation.

yh, i just figured it was impossible to change. Its funny when a torpedo explodes, then the cloud follows the ship as it turns lol

Yes... for the same reason though (though more believable), Phasers don't slide along the shields. These sound like some difficult things to change.

:lol: I actually found this out several patches before the devs added in the feature when I was trying out some shield explosion effects.  It looks even worse when a battlestar turns away from oncoming missiles with explosions chasing it. :lol:
