saave game bug

dunno if it has been reported alr, but:
when i can actually load a savegame, without crashing: all shield bars of my ships and stations are red, until they take the first hit, then it returns to the normal color

I have not had that but I would like to be able to open a saved game with out it crashing. I also crash about every 5th time I start a game. It happens at different times and with all the races. 

When it works I love this mod!!!

And in my case there is no way to start a safed gae cause it crashes.
