The only way to run as an administrator in XP is to create an administrator account and just run it from that. The 'run as administrator' option was added in Vista as part of the new security measures.

it's hard to "run as administrator" on xp, but that's fine, as you shouldn't need to do so. running as administrator was added to the context menu when UAC was added. windows xp doesn't have UAC.
what UAC does is this: even if you're using admin level accounts in vista/7, UAC doesn't let programs have your admin level powers. it restricts programs to run without all the privileges that malware like to use to do harm.
that's why some programs ask you to run them as admin, because they need these powers to fiddle around in ways that UAC usually blocks.
in windows xp there is no UAC, so if the account you're logged on as is an admin account, any program you run will have all your admin privileges, and is therefore being run as admin and will work fine.
if you're logged in as a non admin account, then i think the context menu item you want is "run as" to run as another user. then provide login/password for an admin account. the program will then be run as the other user, with all their priveleges.
