replace weapon and selection

i noticed in the patch project that when the replace weapon is used for mvam you have all sections selected but when used in fo3 you only keep one part

yea, the replaceweapon in fleet operations may work different as the one in the patch project. as we only have the prometheus as map object there, we don't look much into if it works correctly or not :) thanks for reporting

no problem i only noticed when doing my own mod. it would be cool if you could set each item in the replace weaon to be remained selected or become deselected

hmm, so this repalce weapon, what exactly does this do?

it allow one ship to either change into another, seprate into multi parts, release other ships like fighters

in fleet operations it is used for ship avatar selection, vessel upgrades, also allows the federation warp-in and a lot of more stuff
it's no real weapon, it has just to be used as one within armada

ship change into another? could this possibly be implemented for damage models?

in theory yes (not with the current options available) but a replaceweapon is not fitting for that anyway. would be a sheer overkill of definition files ;)
