Quick! I need to know how much RAM Flops uses!
Program aborts? Network configuration? Graphic errors? Bugs? Post your question here.

as its refurb u get more bang for your buck. but how much was the warranty? if u had put the warranty money on a more expensive laptop you could have got a new one lol.
if it handles starcraft 2 (a game from last year or two?) it should almost certainly handle fleetops.
looking at the stats you linked to, it's better than mine, it should easily run fleetops online as mine does.
its got a dual core running at a higher clock speed than mine, its got more ram, and a dedicated graphics card compared to my integrated one.
you'll be fine for online with it.
to keep it cooler during non gaming use you can use windows 7's built in power management software to run the processor at a lower level (you can configure the exact percentages if u want).
mine (using the windows preset levels for each mode) runs at minimum of 5% and max of 50% when in power saving mode, which makes it way cooler.
on balanced mode (the default mode) it runs at min of 5% and max of 100% so it runs as high as it needs.
on high performance mode (hidden by default, windows 7 only shows 2 modes, balanced and the last selected mode) it uses 100% regardless. so there is always full power available. runs pretty hot in this mode.
so you can make your parts last longer by running in power saving mode when using simple things like web and office stuff. and turn it up to high for games when needed.
dont forget to leave it in balanced when you shut down, as if its in power saving when shut down it will start up in power saving and start slower

Oh yeah, I've learned if you're planning a graphics intensive game for more than 2 hours, the only good answer is to prop it up with an external fan blowing beneath it
The Warranty was $60, so yeah that adds a bit but I was going to get a warranty whether it was refurbished or not. I've learned my lesson there.
Thanks for the advice on power saving, I knew about the options but I hadn't thought about the heat limits making it last longer. I am absolutely planning to get SpeedFan and set it to beep if my temp gets too high, like I did with my last computer after it started showing problems.
