Preventing AI From Mining Your Moons

Another player pointed  out to me that its more efficient to have about 3 freighters per moon for efficient production, but in single player the AI constructs mining stations near my starting moons and mining them with freighters. When this happens there's too many ships mining the same moon and it slows down my resource extraction. Is there any way to stop the AI from mining my moons?

Don't fix it. My Allies come into my base and build Shipyards and defences. They build more ships and turrets that assist in defence of my base, which I quite like.
