Is there a reason for this

perhaps its the odfs? did u just copy the planets or the odfs? Oh and I think you need to asign the planets to a race="no race" or something similar. I just remember this from the bbom.

White objects usually mean texture problems.

The SOD has no textures assigned to the SOD file. I found similar probs. You have to edit the SOD and assign textures to youir pleasing.

hmm shouldnt you just be able to edit the odfs for the current planets.

Are the textures in the right place? Did you change the name of the textures?

did you use the code from the planets in stock or modify the FO code. Also i wouldnt be surprised if it was seeing as how they are animated.
