To Enable Out of Sync Logs
The host must enable OOS logs. To do this, enter the Advanced Game Settings window and type "dbg" on the keyboard. An overlay window will appear.
There the "Sync Host" button must be pressed. Then click "OK" on the Advanced Game Settings window.
Logs are then generated automatically when an OOS occurs. You must restart Fleet Ops after every successful log, or a log will not be generated the next time.
'Saved' game settings will override this log system, so be sure to default and then use the sync host setup.
Ok, I'm getting a little frustrated now. I lost two more OOS events, because a log was not generated. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but this happened just after generating the two that I attached above. I went back into the multiplayer lobby, & started a new game...but no Log was generated. These were the steps taken on the 2nd games, after just exiting the 1st:
Host -
Create game
Click "Advanced Settings"
Type "dbg"
Click "Sync Host"
Click "Ok"
Client join
Set teams & observers
Start
Client -
Exit Multiplayer lobby to main menu
Start Instant action
Click "Advanced Settings"
Type "dbg"
Click "Sync Host"
Click "Ok"
Exit instant action
Start Multiplayer over LAN
Join hosted game
Change status to observer
Do you have to press the "Default" button on both the host & client, before doing the "dbg" command in EVERY game? Also, do you have to restart FO after each log? It just seems like there's some steps missing somewhere....

Ah, you have to restart Fleet Operations entirely
Aka, exit to desktop, load up the application again. Sorry if that wasn't clear enough

Awesome, thanks - the problem still has not been identified, so the more reports, the better
Hm, am I correct that those are only yours (from your computer)? Do Kamk and Megaman not have the reports, or are those what the other two are?

I would think that kamk would be the one with the reports, considering he was the host of the game

Every player needs to include their logs otherwise they are useless (since you need to compare the differences between player's logs).

Ok so I dont have any logs to submit but I have noticed something odd about some OOS issues that may help or be totally useless. I play alot of AI matches with a buddy of mine and it seems like no matter what map and or factions we choose, once we get an OOS error it seems to happen in nearly every match after, and sooner in game. There will be times where it will go OOS in the first 10 min 3 or 4 matches in a row even tho the first match we did lasted over an hour. We have a sort of fix, it seems that if everyone playing does a restart we have a MUCH lower chance of getting an OOS. Also there have been some matches where we get the OOS, but we didnt really go OOS or we were able to resync somehow and were able to finish the match. We also had it where we did a 3 player AI stomp and went OOS, 2 people were still in sync while the 3rd was OOS. Hopefully this is useful.

Yeah, I've been in a game where we went out of sync, and 2 of us ended up playing one version of the game while the other 2 were playing another version. We did however win both games
