Yesterday I tried to play Armada 2 online with a friend. We both had not played in months but we expected no problems since we had not touched the game in any way since we last played.
When I tried to host a game on LAN the way we always do I got up to the point where I clicked "Create Game" then typed in a name for the game and clicked OK. Normally the match settings screen would appear (as you all know) but this time the game froze. The game stayed frozen there for a while. I closed it through the windows task manager and started it up again only to encounter the same problem.
The same issue occurs no matter what connection type i play under (either internet or LAN). My friend tried hosting a game instead but i could not see his game.
I became even more surprised when the exact same problem occurred in a regular Armada 2 install without Fleet Ops.
To make it even more confusing, I tried playing Starfleet Command 3 only to encounter another freeze when attempting to host a game.
Out of all of my games A2 and SFC3 are the only ones that seem to suddenly have an issue.
I tried reinstalling all of the above mentioned games and ran into the problem again.
I have had hamachi on my computer for years and have never had issues before, so I dont think it is related to that. However, recently I installed (then later uninstalled) Tunngle from my computer. I have also installed Steam. Could they be causing this problem?
Any help at all would be great because as of now, I have no way to play either of these games the way I used to.
Thanks in advance!

try uninstall and reinstall hamachi as well. just grasping at straws here.
i'm assuming other mp games don't have any issues.
EDIT: also do what styer said first, it can't hurt, and will take less time.

WOW! That worked! I unplugged my modem and router for a bit, plugged them back in, and now its fine.

Fleet Ops, Armada 2 and SFC3 all work now.
Thank you very much!
