Whenever I play via gamespy it either tells me an error has occured or it can't connect to the host.

It used to work on Vanilla, I patched it somewhere then it didn't, but I uninstalled/reinstalled (fleet ops/Vanilla AII) and I had hoped it fixed it, unfortunately it didn't, and I'm back to square

Any ideas?

so you have the same issue with stock a2 and fleet operations?

Yeah.... it all began after I downloaded 1.1 off another site after I downloaded fleet ops. Not the brightest move, I know...

well, seeing as theres a thread, yesterday i couldnt join 3 different people for online play, i was able to sucess fully join one, but when i tried to join the others it said they were lost, i know i cant host games because of router, but i think all of this mulyyplayer stuff needs to be adressed, and a workaround for people with routers for hosting

I think our problems are different Ray... I've had mine for a while (admittedly, when it first appeared I just didn't play FO for about a month.. but hey

i can't do much about the multiplayer issues if they are armada related. don't expect an improvement there, as we don't have the source. even smaller changes may take month to accomplish

Ray most of the online issues are LAMEspy related (read gamespy), all that host lost stuff happens in stock too, I don't think there is much the team can do about this. Although if they could it would be great; it is a very frustrating problem.

Hamachi seems to work to resolve it.... so as others have said, it is most definitely Lamespy's fault  :shifty:
