When the Menu launches or you push the escape button for the in game menu, the game puts all its menus on just half of the screen, yet the movie and actual gameplay is done fullscreen. I dont understand this at all.

P.s I have managed to play the Preview, its absolutley fab.

i fear that what you describe is more an armada 2 issue we cannot influence..
alt+p is the ingame screenshot shortcut. make sure you have an "screenshot" folder in your fleet operations directory created

Fleet ops wont create a screenshot, for some reason. Armada 2 is now also having this problem, I bought a new Graphics card yesterday, which might be casuing, if this is the case, i am dissapointed..

So if it happens do you see parts of your Desktop?

I found the problem for you.

I just set FSAA to 2x and WHAM, I have the same problem.

Set your FSAA to off, 2xQ or 4x and try again.

What exactly is FSAA and where do i change it, all i know is i jsut bought a Nvidia Geforce 6600LE, so its not fully set up correctly for some programs.

Please help me with this, i wish to maximise my gaming experience from the best Armada 2 Mod ever.

If thats the case make sure you kept those settings in the Nvidia Control Panel "Application-controlled".

(I've got nvidia geforce 6800)

It's part of the standard nVidia drivers.

For example, just right-click your desktop and
choose nVidia settings and then your monitor.

However, there are many ways to access it.
And don't forget to activate the tray icon under "Tools".
Thus you can change the most important settings from a
flyout menu without having to launch the whole control panel.

FSAA = Full Screen Anti-Aliasing, also simply called AA or Anti-Aliasing or "edge smoothing"
