Matrix Teleport Bug

According to the tooltip, this special ability available to the Assimilate Borg Avatar "Equips Assimilation Matrixes with the Matrix-Teleport special ability which allows you to transport drones from your Assimilation Matrix to any friendly vessel in the sector (teleports 150 drones per usage. The target's shield may remain active during the transport)". Unfortunately (or fortunately) you can use Matrix Teleport on ANY vessel--friend or foe--, so long as it is missing even one crewmember.

Nooooo!!!!! The secret's out!!!   Assimilate was so easy when you could just steal ships in one click!   Probably good that this gets fixed though.  Way too powerful.

Is this a bug or is it just a bigger version of the 'Boarding' ability?

Well, that's what I wasn't sure on, Tyler.  It acts just like boarding, so it seemed as intended.  But one Assimilator can take over 4 destroyers in one shot (2 from matrix teleport, and 2 from the beam proper) and it took a while for it to dawn on me that it might just be a tad OP.

Not long after posting that, I checked the odf and saw that it is set to not work on the enemy...Guess bug is right.

You know? I think it is great the way it is. How about you can beam to any vessel who's shields are down?
