Is there any way to install Fleet Ops without a CD? Mine is damaged and I cannot afford to buy a new one.

Have you tried virtual drive software? You can use it with CD image to install FleetOps.

With virtual drive software you can use a file instead of real CD. So if you have a CD image of Armada II CD, you can mount it using virtual drive software. With that, the installation should be like installing from CD.

Mounting a CD image? Isn't that what Daemon Tools does?

Yes, I think so, but I have never used it.

How does that work with FO? I thought those programs would install the basic Armada2.

Yes they do. It has always been like that. You are in need of the Armada 2 CD to install Fleet Operations. But with the image mount the FO installer can take the necessary files from the image as if it would be a normal CD. The only thing is that your CD is a virtual one then and not a real thing of plastic anymore.

It is true that Armada is really expensive on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk.
But since it is possible to order via com or co.uk from Germany it might work for you to order a new copy of Armada 2 via amazon.de. It's only about 14 € which is pretty cheap compared to the other prices.

CD-Images unfortunatelly only work if you created them before your CD was damaged or got lost  :pinch: (But that only happens once  :D )

In addition to the post by 'The Old Man'. I can assist you. As long as the computer reads your CD as Armada II, regardless if it installs or not, I will sit you up with an image, however to play you will need the original CD in the drive.

actualy you only need the cd in a drive to play if you installed it off a drive if you installed it with a virtual drive then you would just have to mount the cd evey time you wanted to play. and if you need an image you can use a *cough* torrent *cough* and I only suggest this because you say you have the game cd if you do not then you should not download an image because that would be illegal. P.M. me if you want help
