Ok

So I see that 1280x960 and 1280x1024 are supported in the directx options as you showed , but there is no option to block or remove any of the supported resolutions!!!!

HOW??????????

nope, i don't know a way. the direct cpl only shows the supported resolutions. i wanted to know if that is really the case. i haven't looked into how the false resolutions can be removed, however i will as soon as i have time for.

If anyone has an idea, go ahead and post it :)

Okay, I am sorry: Please forget everything I said about 1280 x 960. Indeed my notebook uses a very different resolution which doesn't work either: 1280 x 768 px.
Is this resolution supported anyway?

is 1280x960 available in armada 2?

it would be interesting to see which resolutions are listed in the directx control panel posted above.. :)

I remember a program to add custom resolutions to your driver profile, but don't remember its name, maybe I can delete the unwanted resolutions, but just if I can remember!!1

this program is free, but what is the name??????????

Wow I just remembered "PowerStrip" :)

I'll download it and try to remove the resolutions, hope this works

Thanks

does 1280x960 still appear in the directx cpl after you have used powerstrip?

Powerstrip does not enable me to remove the normal resolutions, only the custom resolutions I edit or add!!!!

What a mess.

Or it could be that I do not how!!!!! :0
