How the new website was made...

Im curious as a fellow website designer,

This page is one of the nicest I've seen so far, what tools did you use to create this new clever webpage. Was it Bitrix? Antenna? Did you whip it up in notepad?

Do tell!

The new site is joomla cms and phpbb forum based (versus the old Joomla/SMF). We also bought some stuff this time to speed up development. phpbb uses a heavily modified template, optec got quite creative with it. Here and there some custom scripts are in use. Chrome and Firefox both come with some powerful web developer tools which helped a lot during development getting css right or fixing some html. So besides a text editor (sublime text 2, optec uses notepad++ i think) and our usual graphics programs no other special tools were utilized.

Aaah, nice, I had joomla on one of my old jobs. Its quite complex if you didn't the whole thing from the beginning yourself and you allways find yourself digging around the architecture to find that damn module that isn't working properly!
