how do you get the Prometheus Class starship?

i was wondering how do you get the prometheus class starship in 3.02?

From what I can tell, you can only get it by adding it as a derelict in a map via the map editor. It does not appear to be buildable and is also missing tooltip information and names.

it would seem to me that it would be one of the experimental vessels you can get after building starfleet command.  but since those are random theres no way to guarentee it.  if im wrong please someone correct this information.

Map Unit only. If you want it in-game, you'll have to add it yourself.

there is only 1 experimental warp in vessel atm: the descent class ... a very good meatshield

  Since the avalon class isn't experimental anymore, we expect a new ship class, just for diversity. Prometheus, anyone  ?  :naugthy:

I think that the Incursion will be in at some point, it would make a good Experimental as well as the Prometheus.

yes there are ways to insure that you warpin just one kind of ship. but it is easier to just make it buildable.

That's boring? You go mod in 50 other ships while fixing crashes :P. Just kidding, but what else do you want there? The Galaxy X is not in this timeline, the Prometheus is an option but if we give it realistic stats (not 50x more powerful than a Sovereign) certain individuals are likely to cry, the Incursion is neat and perhaps we could have the Sovereign refit (Nemesis variant of the Enterprise-E?) available in Expirimental with boosted stats over the initial Sovereign...or maybe use that as an avatar variant for the third federation avatar E.G. Admiral X, Refitted Sovereigns have + 6 attack, + 4 defense or something, would be cool. And maybe that Admiral can get Venture Refitted Galaxy class ships as well, sounds like a fun avatar imo.

I, one, I'm not for refits. I like better new designs. I think Prometheus will fit just fine
as experimental warp in and I think the team is experienced enough to balance it right. Though it wouldn't be a tragedy if will not make it in the game, I would hate that all the hard work for a successful MVAM to be in vain. Just my 2 cent...

The Prometheus is only a placeholder, that implies there are plans involving it.
