Hey!

Basically, I've lost my A2 disc after moving house meaning I can't play FO.
Is there some form of No-CD available?

Please bare in mind I have no technological knowledge whatsoever, so accurate instructions are appreciated!

Thanks

no cds do not work well and i cant tell you where else to get the game becauses its illegal, i know that amazon or ebay have the game in second hand condition only and these are very rare and expensive. no cds dont work that well or not at all on a clean FO install, so if you have STA2 still on your machine the original exe you can have the installer find it and the game should install itself, its a standalone, complete A2 FO mod, after the install it should be ok to play the game without any further problems.

Nocds work just fine go to game copy world. Then search for armada 2 and download the first one that was created by doca cola. There is instructions on how to install for FO in it too.

Order off of amazon.com, shouldn't be costing too much.

actually in germany it costs about 29 Euro on amazon. I would suggest Ebay

Nonono! Ebay is unrelyable because Ebay won't defend you legally if you were to get an illegal copy or bad condition disk. Please, not ebay! :sweatdrop:

the german version for a2 is usually a lot cheaper and if you want to use it just for the purpose of installing Fleet Operations, thats not a problem at all, as fleet operations uses its own, english, voice and text, even if you installed it of a german CD

Optec, might you consider updating the stickied thread on "I lost my disc.. etc" with some of this information?  :sweatdrop:
