Global event does not play

So, I copied the audio files from star trek armada 2 and placed them into fleetops.

I then went to the events files and placed the following:

TemporalDisplacementWarning{
Table
Sound <borg> "gvobcv38.wav"
Sound <unitedfederation> "gvofcv38.wav"
Sound <klingonempire> "gvokcv38.wav"
Sound <romulanempire> "gvorcv38.wav"

SoundPriority 2
SaveLocation
Global
Marker radius 128 shrink 0.025 time 2 color 1 0 1
Text "EVENTS_TEMPORAL_STASIS_FIELD_DETECTED"
}

And nothing happens when I use the temporal stasis weapon that is originally in the fleetops game. No warning of the weapon being fired.

What could I possibly be missing?

This is just a guess, but those look like all old Stock Armada II .wav files so are any of the old Stock Armada II Sound files still in the FleetOps install you have? It's been a very long time since ever installing FleetOps off the Armada II disc so I don't remember if it "ripped" any of the Stock Armada II sounds that possibly weren't being used.

The FleetOps Devs could have also turned that feature off if they removed the Temporal Stasis Field. (That's just a guess though.)

I copied the wav files from a2 and placed them into fleetops.

Also when I used the weapon, no text was displayed that mentions that the weapon was fired.
