I just got a strange complaint from my father. He says that every time I play FO online his game (usually MWLL) hangs up and/or starts lagging severely. This is strange cause I don't imagine FO, a mod for armada to need much bandwidth at all.

My internet speed, with DSL TV turned on:

MWLL is a mod for Crysis wars and Crysis wars states, that it needs 512 kbps (written in small letters - so it must be bit)  internet, but the strange thing is, that me and my dad both used to play MWLL on 250 kBps (Byte) Internet with no problems.

nope, armada shouldn't consume a significant amount of bandwith. I play armada on a tiny fraction of your available bandwith

there are some tools you could check it with that would show you what is using what on your comptuer or you can sometimes even check it from the router.

Considering 250kBps is ~4x the required 512 kbps, this makes perfect sense :D

Honestly, I believe it.  Not because Fleet Ops takes much bandwidth, but because Living Legends is pretty bandwidth heavy.  Also it may have something to do with the tunngle process, try having him play while you have tunngle up but aren't playing Fleet Ops.

Of course, even if that's the answer I don't know what the solution is.  Are you both on wireless or something?

384kbps can handle a 2v2 game - tested and confirmed!
