Have you made sure that your antivirus is not quarantining your exe?

Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - Armada2.exe technical side note (no-cd patches, virus alerts)

Haven't posted in a while...but I came across your post and it kinda sounds like it could possibly be a corrupt install? Try redownloading, that could fix it.

Dammit, FO3.1.4 don't start for me either... I tried everything what I could. Deleted the whole install and install 3.1.4 by itself, tried to add the nocd armada2.ldl, the results are the same:
I try to start the game, but then nothing. If I open the Task Manager, Armada2.exe is there, but it's using only an insignificant size of memory, around 30-250 Ks.

Oh, I'm using the good old XP. I didn't want to change to 7 because I was afraid thet I won't be able to run Armada II....  :whistling:

I have the same issue.  I click on the Fleet Ops executable and nothing.  I'm using Vista Home Premium 32-Bit.

You all changed the ldl extension to exe then pasted the nocd right?

It made no difference. I tried with and without the nocd patch, the results were the same.
However, when I deleted Armada II from my HDD, from the registry and from my virus buster, and reinstalled only FO and restarted the game it worked fine after I defined fir the virus buster that armada2.exe is not a virus. It asked earlier, but still the game wont run. Interesting...

Same here, Flops just will not run under my 64 Bit windows 7, but works perfectly fine in my XP install??  :ermm:

A bit weird really and I hate having to dual boot into XP just to play this game!
