Fleet Ops. Running Slow

:huh: Can you explain why Fleet Ops. runs Really slow. All my other programs & games run just fine. I,m useing an HP with 1200 Mhz cpu, 348 MB memory, & 81820E Intel Graphics Controller.

do you have alot of uther programs runing in the back rawnd?

programs in your autostart tray?

you scan for spy whare adware and vireses?

have you defraged your computer resintly?

some times if one leves his or her computer on for a wile i find the ram can get full restarting and fixs this.


o cupal uther things i can think of to make it run slow off the top of my hed.

hard drive is geting full?

you have a registy conflickt you whood see uther sines of this if it was te case.

only program that is running in background is for desktop pictures.
nothing in autostart.
scan for adware & virures about every 2 or 3 days. none yet.
defrag once a week

Beacuse your graphics card sucks. Sorry its not a card its onboard. Thats the main problem is that you have an onboard intel GPU.

All the intergrated Graphic cards suck arse that was his point and I tend to agree with that assesment

Recamendation: if you need to buy a new motherboard to get a graphics card (many MBs with integrated don't have a port for a graphics card) then get a PCI express enabled board b/c AGP is dieing (i feel fairly stupid because when i built my computer a year ago i did get a Radeon 9800XT (one of the last of a dieing standerd) meaning i will have to get a new MB to upgrade my Graphics Card)

ok i had an intel integrated and i was able to add a radeon 9200 i tink...i just had to disable the integrated one

Than that board had an open AGP, but not all boards do when they have onboard.

thank everyone. i've been getting pretty much the same feedback from other people i've asked also. so i guessif i want to play Fleet Ops. anymore i'll be getting a new graphics card alng with a few other upgrade parts i'm wanting.

my old pc had an intergrated intell graphics card and it was a pain in the f***ing arse to disable for my gforce card.
