Program aborts? Network configuration? Graphic errors? Bugs? Post your question here.

I had this two times to day. My whole system got frozen and I had to unplug mainpower to get it working again.
I don't know how it happend or why, but it happend after 20minutes when playing Fleet Ops with Dominion as player...
I haven't changed something in the Game, or installed something new on my laptop.
I was playing on a self-made map. Testing it...
Can someone please tell me, that it is not Fleet Ops that make a problem here?

describe frozen? absolutely no response on screen? no blue screen, no error etc
that sounds like your graphics driver crashed. try updating your graphics drivers. or downgrading them lol. i find that the latest graphics drivers for my chip are worse than the oem ones.

frozen screen. nothing was moving anymore, not even my cursor.
Sound was going into a loop of 0,2 sec ...
Strg+Alt+Entf (Crlt+Alt+Del), did not work, to.
I will try it again, to see if it crashes again not.
We will see.
If it crash again, I will search for updates of my grafics driver, but that should be up-to-date...

this does sound like the graphics driver has crashed. try downgrading your graphics drivers, look on the oem disc for drivers, they may work better.
what os do you have? i find that on vista and 7 (more so on 7) that if the graphics driver crashes, windows will just restart it and continue. while on xp it just hangs.

FAIL - I crashed again.
*trying to open that §$$%&§$" escape Pod*
So I checked my system-log files - and what did I found? - Windows made an update (without telling me that).
Ok, here is a theorie WHY I crashed 3 times:
The map I made is really huge 40000x40000 with lots of object on it.
Maybe the map is not to big for my grafic-card, but if the ships flying around on it while playing could that after some time. Like the little drop that is to much in the end.
I'll try to find a update for my drivers, or just down-grading it...
Or someone sent me a borg-drone to assimilate that damn grafics driver...

edit: Myles:
I'm using Windows7 x64 Ultimate.
