Federation ship's attacking each other?

Dont know if anyone has had this problem, but ive seen my own ships go after each other anyone else have this problem? Ill be darn thought maybe i was seeing things, but guess not.

I have had that issue when I select a whole bunch at once and am not very very VERY carefull about  left click right click on mouse.  and its not just federation ships its any race if you select a group of ships and click wrong all the ships will fire at whatever ship your mouse button is over

That should only happen if you give the attach command, otherwise it should just treat it as a move command.  My guess would be you somehow accidentally hit the hotkey for attack.

I dont touch the keyboard when its happened i have noticed that the cursor turns to the attack red after ive selected the ships so its some kind of quirk when selecting large groups of ships

I have never attacked my own ships by accident, but I have seen others do this in replays. You probably just accidentally hit the a key without realizing it.

Well i think we need to keep our eyes open, as ive had a few times where things like this happend, i just dismissed it however, thinking i was the only one..... but it could be an actual problem

never experienced that. only when i hit the "force" attack button either on the keyboard or button bar before

Incidentally, I've seen people accomplish this "bug" before too - but it's always been a case of force attacking. ...give me an "A"! Noooooo....
