i may have traced the problem back to our exception component. i have a version uploaded where it is disabled. could you please try it?
http://fleetops.masters-lan.info/debug/fodevJenraux.exe
this is an installer.

just tell me if it works or still crashes for you. note: if it crashes then instead of our exception box, the one from windows should come up.

I received a windows error now:

Application Error

Exception EOutOfMemory in module FleetOpsHook.dll at 00005185.

Also afterwards it tried to boot up the original AII, but that crashed on a blackscreen saying an unexpected error has occured.

ok, so it was not the exception engine. i guess i will have to ask the developer of the 3rd party component why the crash occurs
edit: ok, forget it, it seems to be something else anyway

i have further tried to investigate your problem, but didn't came up with a solution. it seems like just what it says, for some reason fleet operations can not register memory on your system. it may be related some kind of software you are running in parallel, but i couldn't find anything unusual on your processes list. maybe it helps if you temporary create a brand new user account on your computer and try to run it from there. just an idea to see if it is anything related to user settings.
