Hey all. I have found a little annoying bug with the Cehlaer's special.  :D

When I use DB on an enemy unit, but then the enemy dies while DB is locked on, it seems to feedback to the Cehlaer, and lock it in place. I was wondering if you could fix this please?  :whistling:

Thanks. :)

( BTW, how do you even pronounce 'Cehlaer'?  :sweatdrop: )

Interesting bug. The Cehlaer won't move at all?

The pronounciation is somewhat akin to latin, so as Optec mentioned way back when... "Cehlaer should be something like "seh-lair", perhaps a bit rounder, like in leer-yet, something in between"

:)

This is a good bug maybe?

Maybe the Cehlaer shouldn't be able to move when it's using it...  ^-^

Lol. It is able to move while usng it, but if the target dies WHILE the Cehlaer is using DB, it feeds back to the Cehlaer, freezing it until all special weapon energy is used up.

hm, you could make a special weapon out of this: give a ship a special weapon that sends only special attacks back to the one who fired it .... good or bad. could be fun. the corbomit reflector in armada1 was that one but also countered weapon fire ... was funny to take 3 negh'vars down with 1 sovreign just because they ate there own plasma cannon.

Classical or Vulgar Latin? That would make a big difference with the C coming before E as Classical Latin always had it with a K sound, but Vulgar gave it an S sound before I and E. Also is it the E sound like in Met or Grey? Is the ai supposed to be the diphthong English uses the letter I for?

The last description only said Romulan names 'sound more Latin', nothing about a particular style.

If your description about Ceh/Seh is accurate, I'd say Vulgar Latin (whatever the hell that is...).

Vulgar means of the people, similar to the word folk, although its meaning and connotation have changed over the years. Classical was Latin as it was spoken back a very long time ago in the Roman empire; Vulgar was more recent, just before the regional dialects became separate enough to be classified as separate languages. In the very late Roman Empire the writing remained Classical while people normally spoke Vulgar.
