Umm... this sounds like it could be pretty serious. Are you having any other issues with your computer, or just when launching the game? By load the game up do you mean loading an old instant action game?

There could be a problem with your hard drive...

Fatal Error in 3D could have something to do with your video card. Have you recently changed anything about your computer? Hardware? Software? like drivers?

Most likely the card being changed has caused the problem, and the funny thing is when i took it from the other computer it said graphic's card failed to initalize.

try to delete your configuration file

You can find your configuration file under XP
C:Documents and SettingsApplication DataStar Trek Armada II Fleet OperationsFOData.ini
or Vista/7
C:UsersAppDataRoamingStar Trek Armada II Fleet OperationsFOData.ini

note that these folders may be hidden in the default configuration of Windows.

You may also want to try to find the latest drivers for that card from the manufacturer. Windows native drivers are usually pretty old...

Who makes the card?

i had that error on an old pc,it was the driver it wouldnt allow direct 3d,re-installing the driver fixed it,and all the usual bits, but if other games are workin, maybe the old re-install fleetops thing which works for sum ppl,gd luck

Stuff burns out... But I still think you are having driver issues especially if it's running at... wait what?...600X4000? are you sure you dont mean 640X480?
