Descent Special Weapon and Excelsior bug

I'm not certain, but I'm fairly sure that the descent class special weapon that replenishes shields for itself and in an aoe doesn't affect my ships anymore.

The Descents shields go back up, but all nearby ships seem to be on the same shield strength.

EDIT: Actually, it doesnt work at all full stop when you have the right handside avatar. The countdown starts but nothing happens.

Also, the excelsior has no admirals log pic , and I dont know if its intentional or not but its listed under destroyer

Hmm maybe there's something wrong with my install. I have only noticed this when using the fighter-carrier avatar, maybe the other one works ok.

But it definitely happens, I doubled checked today and even ships directly next to my descent werent affected...strange.

EDIT: And it definitely works on the other avatar too (as tyler pointed out)...strange.
