I get an error message that's really baffling me

Cannot create file C:Program FilesActivisionStar Trek Armada II Fleet OprerationssoundsmusicBorg.wav The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

That's when installing a clean FO 3PR

I keep Clicking ok, but it keeps popping up. What am I doing wrong?

I got the same darn error message on my freaking vista home premium laptop yesterday!!!! aargh!!!  :crybaby:

Any way to resolve it other than porting it over from xp? (my old comp doesn't really like me: I guess it feels left out now...)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the double post, but I'm copying ALL the files now, and I was wondering, what files am I supposed to copy to succesfully run the game. Armada II is already installed on the fresh comp.

No right now I`m in Australia doing a practical course for my studies. Last week I bought me a new laptop with Vista on it. Now that I'm not at my machine at home there is no way to get FO working. I guess I have to wait until DC is back from vacation. I can live with that....  :ermm:  ...NO I CANT!!! :crybaby:

At least FO! Even Master of Orion 2 doesn't work! I hate you Vista! Really I hate you sooo much!!!!!

I also have this issue, and am running Vista Ultimate(Fully up to date).

Anyone have a fix for this, other than installing on an XP machine and transferring it over? UAC is currently disabled.

Thanks.

edit: Alright, going to just install it on my local webserver that I use for testing (Its running XP Pro SP2), and will just transfer the files back via FTP.
