Crash at startup

For some reason, after installing the 3.0.4 patch, I can't get into the game anymore. I click on the game icon and the screen turns black (as it should when starting) then it crashes to the desktop before even getting to the main screen.

you could try to delete your configuration file

You can find your configuration file under XP
C:Documents and SettingsApplication DataStar Trek Armada II Fleet OperationsFOData.xml
or Vista
C:UsersAppDataRoamingStar Trek Armada II Fleet OperationsSavegamesFOData.xml

note that these folders may be hidden in the default configuration of Windows.
