Hello, i just installed xp on one of my partitions (rest of the comp is running vista). updated xp all the way then installed fleet ops 3 and the patch.

When the game starts up the fleet ops logo flips out sits for a while then the game crashes.

I have tried making a new administrator account and it still crashed in the new account.

Any ideas?

PM either the Devs (DOCa Cola, Optec) or the senior members (particularly The Black Baron or Eufnoc, Cpt Ryan should be able to help as well).

I personally am not the in-house tech guy, but I'd love to help if I was able...

what is the path you installed fleet operations in. i think we have had the problem several times now (you may find solutions in other threads in the technical forum) but there never was an universal solution for, as the issue seems to occour quite random.

your download shouldn't be corrupted, we have a crc check build right in the installer. how long does the logo itself stays there? how does the game crash? does an windows dialog pop up saying it is crashed?

I:Program FilesActivisionStar Trek Armada II Fleet Operations

I is my XP partition, hope thats not the problem as i really cant fix that, sine i dont want to format my computer and all my other partitions are full.

I looked through other threads and tried a bunch of thigns, re-installing, setting up an new admin account and trying to launch from there, other then that i did not see any other ideas.
