Crah whenever i want to start a game on 3.0.7

So, I get to the ingame menu, can change settings, but whenever i want to actually start the game it just crashes.

welcome to the forums. i see you have tried to open an ipx based game. could you attach me a bug report for instant action and tcp/ip based network games please?

Actually, i cant, because as the game crashes it also closes the window with options on what to do with the bug report. I somehow managed to get this txt file, but to be honnest, i dont know how, maby a lucky exception. That txt file is all i can give

Well, i can also say that i have dual screen setup (primary @ 1680*1050 and secondary @ 1280*1024).

First i tried it running on dual screen, after the crash i tried 1 sceen only, than i disabled the other screen and tried running in windowed mode. Nothing helped.

Also the first time i got and error - think it was Fatal error in Direct3D Please reboot.
I did reboot, but it didn't help.

are you able to use the crash dialog when you run the game in windowed mode?

No, it's always the same, i will keep trying, maby i get lucky again, but i doubt it

Could it have something to do with SLi? The crash, i mean.

i guess not. hm, could you take a look and see if a crash log was generated. please attach it here if so.
You can find the automatic generated crash log under XP
C:Documents and SettingsApplication DataStar Trek Armada II Fleet OperationsLogsexceptArmada2.txt
or Vista
C:UsersAppDataRoamingStar Trek Armada II Fleet OperationsLogsexceptArmada2.txt

note that these folders may be hidden in the default configuration of Windows.

Isn't that the file that i attached in my original post?

After i reinstalled the game, (version 3.0.6) i managed to save the bug report - exceptArmada2a
and now after patching (3.0.7) i saved the log again - exceptArmada2b

This time i did not change any settings, i went straight to instant action
