Cloak follow bug not exterminated?

I remember to have seen this as fixed somewhere quite some time ago but sometimes it still happens.
Just now when I was playing around with xfire recording a romulan scout and a shrike of the AI happened to follow my cloaking scout. The event in question happens right in the middle of the video at about 2 minutes in.

more importantly i have seen cloak follow exploited in multiplayer games a couple times over the last few months.. it seems it still exists.

Yes, we are aware that the bug still exists :) . Unfortunately this one is not so easy to fix :sweatdrop:

This bug is actually a hot candidate for the non-fixeable bugs until FO get its own game engine :D

it was much worse with the AI in the past, where the AI parked a whole fleet on top of your cloaked units. Most of this has been adressed in Fleet Operations...but yea, AI related issues are hard to fix. The AI code is quite complex. That we don't have the source code and of course that no documentation exists doesn't make that easier :) We are moving forward in smaller steps on that end.
