Canaveral probe

The Mixed-Tech Canaveral still has the probe special ability (not that I'm complaining) even though that was removed from the regular Federation.

Is that a bug or was it intended, like the Gravity Mines in Romulan Mixed-Tech?

Since all of the Mixed-Tech is in the queue to be replaced, I'd say it's just been "forgotten" until it's time to change it all

I agree. Most of the mixed-tech ships (besides the capped ones) have not been changed since 3.0.7, so the overhaul will thrill-kill-kick us.

Besides it gives us a reason for Romulan mixed tech! Oh btw? Does it still detect all cloaked ships?

The guide does not say it has: Mixed-Tech Analysis - The Hitchhiker's Guide to Fleet Operations

So if it still has it, then i presume it shouldn't....

That onlytry only mentions 2 of it's specials, and mentions the tachyon scan ability being added to the probe. The guide entry could go either way.

The guide does mention it

Replacing Tachyon Scan (which is now added to the Probe ability), the Plasma Bolt will disable enemy weapon systems for 10 seconds.
