Did You guys noticed that when AI builds klingon Field Yard it builds all 3 parts at once - it is complete from the start. And when human player builds borg units they are ready imidiately, while AI actually build them over time.  :(

yeah thats a symptom of the lack of AI complexity.

The borg constructors also build the resource processing nodes.  Its a strange thing. :sweatdrop:

Its doesnt know how to use the mining ships to build the resource things, for the same reason as above.

the mods mentioned this I believe. If memory serves, this is caused by the old AI of A2. It is so programmed, that the mods cannot adjust its gameplay style to build the way we do.

So the additional stuff like the modular Klingon yards, or the Borg new mining station structure isnt adaptable to the AI.
If we were to retain the complete tech tree, those exceptions will have to be made.

it would be funny if it treated it like a special weapon: dropping a station every time it comes under attack

Sooo... I'm guessing that the AI has units units that supply it with it's "special" ( :whistling: ) needs.

The AI of stock A2 couldn't use the hard coded items such as saucer separation, so I'm guessing that it is as old as Battlezone.

The mods also said, if my memory serves, that although it would be possible to make it so that the AI could use the Replaceweapon, it would just take a while and require a huge amount of effort.  :innocent:

I wouldn't get my hops up until V4.0, maybe 4.1. :innocent: (again! :whistling: )
