When I host a LAN game, noone can connect. No matter how many AIs are selected for the game, it displays as 1/8. The map name reads as "WLAR8_MAP_NAME." I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have no issue joining other peoples games on the same network.

Error message when people try to join: "The game you are trying to connect to has been cancelled."

I have no security software and the windows firewall is disabled. Thanks for any help.

System
AMD X2 4200+
2 Gb of ram
Geforce 7900
Windows XP SP2

i think the string you are reffering to is "MP08WALR_MAP_NAME"
sounds to me like your loader hasn't kicked in. Please attach your FODataTempLogLoader.txt file

Have you tried to install fleet operations in a CLEAN directory? not over an existing armada2 installation? sounds like me fleet operations uses an preexisting stock armada2 configuration file. Then just uninstall and reinstall in a new directory

I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling into a clean directory. Here's the logloader.txt file.

stupid question but how is the Lan setup and have you tried other games?

I've changed the map, number of players, and settings galore. Every other game I play on a lan works: Counter-strike source, dawn of war, command and conquer, etc.

ah, forgot to ask... have you tried to host a stock armada 2 game yet. do you have the same hosting problems with that, too?
