AI not continuing past line 50

I made up an AI for the Imperial side for my star wars addon. But every time I play against the Imperials the AI stops at line 50 and says 'NO PRODUCER AVAILABLE' the object for line 50 is a research item from the second research station which is built at line 20, so there's no reason for the 'no producer available' message. Now I've checked the tech-tree and made sure everything is spelled right so I can't think of any other problem that could be causing this. Any ideas as to what could cause this?

I've found this to happen most often when I don't have the exact amount of resources needed at the moment the line comes up to build or the item to be built doesn't have all it's prerequisites met according to the tech tree. Hope that helps?

Well when I encountered the issue the first time I was testing unlimited resources. But I've played it on double resources and global build cost 0.0 and encountered the same problem, so resources shouldn't be an issue. I rechecked the tech-tree and the AI list, there is only one prerequisite for the item in question and that is fulfilled on line 36. Well before this item. When I play on normal with global build cost at 1.0 (normal cost), the problem I get is that the AI spends ships faster than it can mine and I wouldn't be doing any raiding or anything. The AI would just keep sending (in this case Imperial ships) Dreadnought cruisers and lower, nothing higher than a Dreadnought cruiser. (I think I just have to lower the maxdi, and maxlat lines in the Imp freighter odf for that problem though.
