A2 Fllet Op's V2

I recently Dled your A2 fleet op's version 2 with the v2patch.

i have installed it on to my comp


when i go to play(try it out) they game starts to load and then nothing so ichange some setting on how it loads and got it to work the only way it would work in it's own window..

Tex and graphics loook great BUT (yes theres always a but)

here is a list of probs im having (hope you can help me fix it)

1. mouse(curser) slugish when moved it bounces and cant lock on to any ships
2. when i do get mouse to go where it neds too i have to click what seem to be a 1/2 to an 1in away to ship or base.

3.i do have a copy of the normal A2 i;ve been playing now will not work was told it shouldn't mess it up but it did.


I have for now uninstalled both game's a2 and a2 fleeet op's


i would like to play both games if i installed it the wrong way please help so i can install it correctly.

i used your a2 fleet op's installer V2 it had me put me a2 disc in it did it's thing
then did the v2 patch restarted comp. and BAM i got the following probs i have discribed above!

any help would be great sorry post was so long.

welcome to the forums!
could you describe me more detailed what happens if you try to start the game. when does this happen exactly?

you DID install Fleetops in a different directory than your normal A2, RIGHT????

V2 fleet ops installer auto made it's own directory folder seprate from A2


when i go to start game the mouse changes to a red fed thingy
then the fade in of the siggys then all it shows is my desktop...

when i set it up to run in it's own window it loads in game no cinima to it
i then can select the quick battle......

it loads fine in game looks cool then when i try to move the mouse it hardly move and it jumps

NOW I have reinstalled my A2 and it is working fine and ally other game run fine as well!


i just need to get this one going and i'd bee a happy camper


im running a P4 2.4 GHz
with 256 megs of ram.
window XP home
ATI 64Mb Graphics.......

go to the pinned BS: After Splash screen nothing happens thread above and look for the big orange text and d/l the file there.

ok i got the game to work i did just the V2 exe. file and got rid of the fleetop2patch2 for some reson when installing that patched it messed evething up but with out it everything loads in fine.


my next is now i got it working how do i get the game to last more then 1 hr ?
seems whe i play after 45mins to 1 hr give or take a in or to it just stops running and crashes to desktop????

any ideas on what me can do to make the game run longer?

try to avoid having noxter in the game, they use to be a bit problematic in beta 2...

some times i have perobloms with the borg two. and naw and than with the romulans and feds. i think the kingons are the most relaibal.

ya defintly the noxter nore unstabul. and cose the game to crash alot.



this is one of the resons i am for leting the fleetops teem take thare time. thay do such a servise to us and ask nuthing in retern. the lest we can do is not push tham lol.
