I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but whenever I pick the left option...the one that's not assimilation, whenever I create the first tier ship (the small cube) and choose the regeneration module, it gives me a check box to create the unit like all the other ships.....so I check it....the building and cube just disappear. I can't mass select them or anything. It doesn't happen in assimilation mode....or at least the only time I played it it didn't. But going on 5 or 6 games now I always build 1 or 2 to start to see if it is a glitch and it certainly seems to be. The other modules work just fine.
One other thing I have noticed, I don't have a particularly new system, but when I first started playing armada 2 years ago this never happened. After I get a good amount of ships (not buildings) on the map, the new ones get a giant black square around them blocking out anything around them while moving. When the new units get a considerable distance away or go through wormholes the affect dissipates. Its only a minor annoyance so I'm not worried about it. I figured its probably my system rather than a glitch.

To fix it yourself, open "bor_scoutcubeYC.odf". At the very top the weapons are listed.
The third weapons is incorrectly named weapon2. Replacing the 2 with a 3 should fix the problem. At least I think thats what I did to make it work.
I don't know what causes your second problem though...

Sweet....thanks Meng for the fix. And sorry Optec if I wasted your time....I searched the forum for the bug but didn't find it. Is there a threat of known bugs I missed?

ya that sounds like a good idea just make a list of bugs you know about and another one that you know about and have fixed so that we dont have some one spam the forum again about this borg scout cube bug
