Tips for Romulan strategy?

Hey guys was just if anyone had any general ideas on good Romulan strategy? trying to improve myself with them...any help will be greatly appreciated!

While I am no Romulan master...

1) Romulan's have extremely specialized ships so know what counters what...

2) Romulan's are aces at the "hit and run" game

3) It is very important to research as a Romulan player as your special weapons can change the course of a battle

4) Play with both Avatars...they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Learn to use the one that will give you the best results depending on who you are fighting

5) Watch videos that involve the Romulan's

I find that if I have three fleets, two with one Tavara each and 29 D'deridex ships (30 ships a fleet) and then an auxiliary fleet of 30 of those artillery ships with the quad stuff that I win every time.
