Well, after a good week of writing, and with the help and encouragement of Mark, I thought that this would be acceptable as a post.
I'd like as much feedback as possible, particularly with online players. Enjoy the read and I hope it is of use to new and old players

I will be posting a Borg Strategy Guide next, probably by the end of next weekend.  :D

EDIT: D'oh, I realized I didn't post a link to the other thread: Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - A Once in a Lifetime Opportunity

EDIT: First round of editing done, thanks to Baron  :D
EDIT: New Version v4 Posted

Very nice, you could mention that scouts that are watching your space, can be set to patrol. Then the enemy will have much more difficulties to know their positions with tachyon scans or with pinging cloaked vessels.

Very nice strategy guide, my man

A little different than what Zebh made, as that is more of a FleetOps review and this is a pure strategy manual for the romulans :) Both are great in their own way, and both took a while to create, so good work both of you!

Come to think of it, I should probably post everytime I edit the guide, so... yes, I've edited again.

@Zebh: I never really make use of the patrol because I much prefer to have a constant view of the battlefield, and to be honest the moving minimap distracts me  . I would have to space and time my scouts out very carefully to be able to set them on patrol and still ensure maximum coverage I think.

I'll test it out though. Usually what I do is have a few reserve scouts ready so I can always send them to the places where my scouts have been discovered. I should mention, though, in general it is often wisest to keep scouts stuck up next to asteroid belts or near the peripheries of nebulas to ensure that the opponent can either not see your ships, or have difficulty targetting them. I honestly haven't see anybody use pinging recently because of its cost (except for me by mistake 6 times in a row... yes. 6 times.). I will add this to the guide.

Perhaps don't want to be ruled by Microsoft and Adobe, so what about OpenDocuments, which are btw much smaller?

(just kidding)

If you don't want to use adobe, you can use Foxit Document reader. Its nice, not the best but nice. It reads pdfs and also has its own format!

I've already fixed it: but the fix will only be released after all the changes are in for everything else.
