I know it's been a long time, so mabye you all are clear-headed enough to discuss it in a mature, adult, manner.

Was Zidane justified in headbutting the guy for calling him a "son of a terrorist *****"?

He was not justified because any kind of violence is wrong, no excuses.
Although if you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all. :)

This should not be in the Star Trek section of the forums.

lol, thats the talk of someone who doesn't know how to be violent  .

TBH i really dont know, perhaps if he had hurt the guy in another way (like a smack in the mouth or something). but there is no doubt in my mind the italy player made a right meal out of it.

I prolly am a bit biased since Zidane is/was my favorite player, but anyhow. Materazzi should BURN for this, that sob ****** destroyed an ending of a career of a player that is one of the best players ever.

Actually I can be very violent. Just ask my H.S. Futbol Americano team. I play tight end and destroy anyone who gets in my way.
I just don't like to see people get hurt over retarded crap like that. Kind of ironic that would come from me. ;)

Yeah.... Maybe....
But let me tell you something, it really gets on my nerves when people use such ways to get ****** victory. On the biggest game to the biggest player playing his last game of his marvelous career, yeah real good job there Materazzi ;)

Note: Same thing happened with Rooney and C. Ronaldo though the magnitude of this is just so much bigger its amazing

I like Zidane, he is a great player.

But if he valued his career's conclusion THAT MUCH he wouldn't have done what he did.
