Lol Boggz, that's from Star Wrek, one of the "best" bad scifi parodies out there.  You can tell were they took shots from the shows and blended them all together.  Pretty impressive work, to be sure.

I have some friends that are into awful movies, and even they had trouble sitting through this one.  Payback for all the crap they've forced me to watch over the years. ^-^

Really?

I mean the graphics and the movement is really exceptional if you ask me.  I realize it's silly to pit B5 vs. Star Trek, but you don't think it's pretty well made?

Well, I've seen the movie.  And I did say that it was impressive, work, didn't I? :sweatdrop:

What I meant was the acting and the plot of the movie was horrible.  But yes, the battle scenes were cool.  And having it on you tube means that you don't have to watch the movie itself.

Oh is there more besides the battle scenes?

Here's their site.  I know there are still places that host the movie online.  They're selling DVDs now, but they had to redo the ships so as not to get sued.  But the original version can still be streamed.

And of course it is a constitiotion class that turns the tide

A Constitution Class that was falling apart... from coffee, of all things...

The film is my favorite parody (and the best Star Trek film besides Galaxy Quest), but the ships have mistakes. Like Galaxy's with only 1 Impulse Engine.

Oh ....

Well even though the rest of it may seem silly, I have to say that's a pretty well-graphic'ed sequence!  I think they got the physics and the movement of the Star trek ships down pretty well.

This is pretty epic; lots of awesome shots.

Few criticism though. First where are the quantums, Sovereign class ships certainly, as well as Defiants and Intrepids had quantums. Second, where are the shields !!, the Federation's ships look like they have no shields and as a result are getting torn to shreds. We've seen Federation shields (and hulls for all that) resist very powerful weapons but here it's as if they're non-existent. Next, I feel like while they got the movement pretty well although I think the ships were a little slow and unresponsive compared to on screen, the actual tactics were off. I feel like the Federation would send in a massive fleet to confront a force such as this, especially if this were part of a larger conflict, such as when they fought the Dominion. Next I feel like the Feds wouldn't just sit waiting for the other side to move after letting loose a volley of torpedoes. They should have fired then charged in and descended on those ships with phasers before the torpedoes had hit. Also I feel like they would have moved around more, taking advantage of the fact that their ships are probably the more maneuverable ones.

I suppose that overall it's very well done for a fan made thing. I did have one question, what's that small Federation shuttle or fighter that we see at the end of Part 1? I don't recognize it.

It is a parody; Star Wreck. That's why it isn't exactly accurate.

They didn't have shields because they were technobabbled away by the Data parody (called Info), they had no Photons or Quantums and what they did use were called Light Balls, Phasers were Twinklers. The ships were sluggish because they were made by the Russians (being the engineering genius's they are).

I think that shuttle is a Star Wreck exclusive, but it seems to have a little of the Delta Flyer in it.

Ah well I didn't really care to check out the storyline or yadda yadda, but it did seem to be a pretty cool looking battle sequence nonetheless.
