Where and when in the timeline would you like to live in Star Trek universe?

It would be nice to visit DS9...

Probably sometime in Picard's era... Seems quite good, plus no war with the Klingons yet still much to discover.

I would prefer TNG's era.
But not as a human.

I would rather be a Q or a human who gave himself freely to the Borg.... gotta love the collective. no BS opinions based on arrogance and self-aggrandizing deliberate elision of Information.

yeah. I was referring to the Borg in my latter sentences.
If I were Q, it would have been to bring order by helping the borg assimilate the entire Galaxy

I would like to be a survivor of Wolf 359, ejected in an escape pod that was heavily damaged, and eventually stowing away on Spacedock, then jumping from ship-to-ship, station-to-station with only a modified hand phaser that I reconstructed to completely obliterate a Borg Drone with no worries about adaptation, only to come across DS9, and eventually stow away on Voyager, and I remain hidden for 2 seasons, making changes to systems so that they would be more resistant to Borg Tech and Weaponry, and play a pivotal role in "The Gift" when I help Kess with removing Seven's Borg Implants, and in Endgame where I make modifications to the ablative armor to be remodulating.  I'm currently turning this into a book series in an alternate universe where outcomes are different.

I was gonna say, you've got this down to a fine art, lol. Sounds cool. When are you releasing it? Can we read it?

I'd have to say that I'd want to live in the Nemesis and onward. I would probably be either an engineer working on a sovie, or some really advanced ship, or a tech on some ship yards, OR a doctor on a smaller ship. (I would like to be a doctor, cuz I really want to heal people, but I don't think I could stand working on people - aka blood and guts, and since this is kind of a fantasy thing...I'd like to be able to use ST tech to work on people.) Well..that was fun.

ENT era... or TOS... definitely somewhere, where Space is big and unexplored and the ships, interiors etc. don't look like space cruise liners

Frankly, I wouldn't really mind any time from the TOS era right up to post-TNG, with the possible exception of the period during the Dominion War... As for where I'd like to be... Anywhere within the deep interior of the Federation would be good... Earth or any of the nearby colony or member planets... Maybe take trips to some of the more wonderous steller phenonema (I'd imagine tourism is a growth industry in the Federation)...

As a friend of mine always put it, she'd love to go into space as long as she could go on the Enterprise (or any comfortable starship really) and wouldn't have to be scared (of radiation, nasty aliens, etc.)... Frankly, I'm inclined to agree with her... I'm really not much of a frontiers (final or otherwise) man and prefer the path well-traveled...

Any time when their is a halodeck lol. But, probably late TNG/DS9 era would work for me.
