well TNG did come out years befor the other series. Besides TNG wasn't about Visual FX as much as it was about thew stories.

1st place. TNG

All the recent movies have sucked. Nemisis sucked despite it being an awsome action movie. Insurrection is when the ST movies went downhill. First Contact was the last good one.

People badmouth Insurection, but it was cool ... mmmmmmmmmhhh Iso-Magnettic Desintegrator... But it wasnt the best one, Nemessis was awsome cuz I't could be the last movie, and is the last TNG one.

TNG. But mainly the TNG movies. They were great. Nemisis was best of all. I have the DVD. Not only does it have great action, it also shows what it means to be human. And it had great action.

DS9 following closely in second. Thne Dominion War was great. Although the Battle Scenes got me: Mirandas were never supposed to fire TNG-Style Phasers. Neither were Excelsiors.

VOY is third. Pretty good series. Janeway was cool.

Something called refits, my name should say I should know something on the subject. 1TNG 2VOY 3DS9 4TOS 5 Enterprise (I never saw an episode of DS9 but people assure me its good, even if a Defiant class can destroy a Excelsior.)

A defiant class could destroy a galaxy...

Now that can't be true, not one refitted after the Dominion War. I DID read up on that.

The Mirandas still had the TMP phaser emitters. They should have had Collimator Arrays if they fired TNG shots.

And the Refitted Galaxies were powerful... To a point. The Galaxy suffered from a major design flaw... It's size. A drunk man with his eyes closed could hit a Galaxy. The Defiant would make quick work of one. However, the Defiant would take heavy damage... The Galaxy's armament was significantly upgraded during the war.

Now the Sovereign Class Uprated Model could take out a Defiant, no problem. 15 Type XII Collimator Phaser Arrays, 10 Burst-Fire Torpedo Tubes, 1 Turreted. 350 Photon Torpedoes, 12 Quantum Torpedoes. The Defiant has 2 Pulse Phaser Emmiters, 2 Burst-Fire Torpedo Tubes, and a Type X Collimator Phaser Array. Compare.

Well if the Mirandas still had the visible TMP emitters then there was a clear screw up. Maybe it cost too much to throw a few phaser strips on so they reworked the old emitters, but thats unlikely.

I never saw DS9 but I just really don't want to except the fact that a flagship could possibly be destroyed by a ship of lesser size and armament. I'm sorry but you wont be able to change my mind on this unless they show that show here so don't bother trying.

*NOTE*The sovern class has to carry more then 12 Quantum torpedos, or Nemesis lied to us all.

TNG has had the best stories, ships (both the E-D and E-E are beautiful ships), and Picard is the best captain in my opinion. DS9 had the Dominion and big fleet combat, plus better special effect. The Cardassians (new when TNG was on) were great on DS9 too. it's a split for me.
