Weyoun's Eyes in DS9

What's your favourite episode? How is romulan ale brewed? - Star Trek in general :-)

So I was watching the last two eps of DS9 today and there is a scene where Weyoun is on his knees talking to the female changeling telling her of his loyalty when she mentions she dieing.  It sounds strange, but his eyes are facing in two completely different directions. (If anyone can grab a screenshot for scrutiny I'd be much obliged).

Basically it's hard to say where his eyeline is supposed to be given her position offscreen, but basically his right eye seems to be pointed upwards toward a standing person while his left eye is directly forward.  My best guess is that the contact on his right eye was put on incorrectly... but as a contact lens wearer I can tell you it is NOT comfortable and would have been caught immediately.

It's pretty bizarre.  I'm actually able to cross one eye at a time horizontally, but up and down is basically impossible if I'm not mistaken.  Since there is no real reason to do so acting-wise... I just don't get it.

Someone with plenty of time on their hands get me a picture :D

actually boggzie if you watch borg queen documentary then you will learn that those contact lenses are extremely uncomfortable.. so maybe the actor was unable to notice it "out of place" cuz it was already uncomfortable to begin with!

It's entirely possible that they didn't have the time to delay shooting the scene for a minor slip to a contact lens; DS9 was filmed on a tight schedule, especially the final episodes.
